Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Parivartane platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who We Are
Parivartane is a registered non-profit NGO operating under the Societies Act, India. Our mission is to clean roadside garbage dumps through community reporting and volunteer-driven cleanup drives.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- One person may only maintain one account.
4. Garbage Reports
- Reports must be genuine and refer to real locations with actual garbage dumps.
- Do not submit false, misleading, or duplicate reports.
- Photos uploaded must be real and unedited images of the reported location.
- Parivartane reserves the right to reject or remove any report at its discretion.
5. Volunteer Participation
- Volunteers participate at their own risk. Parivartane provides basic equipment but is not liable for injuries.
- Volunteers must follow the instructions of coordinators during drives.
- Goodies and rewards are distributed at the discretion of Parivartane coordinators.
- Misconduct during drives may result in removal from the volunteer program.
6. User Content
By submitting photos, reviews, or any content on the platform, you grant Parivartane a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and share that content for NGO purposes including social media, reports, and fundraising.
7. Prohibited Conduct
- Do not submit spam, fake reports, or abusive content.
- Do not attempt to hack, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform.
- Do not impersonate other users or Parivartane staff.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, without prior notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
Parivartane is a non-profit organisation and provides this Service "as is." We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
